Precision injection molding

  • Detailed Description

Stamping is a manufacturing technique that allows sheets or plates of different thicknesses to be formed into the desired shape through mechanical stamping or compaction, without changing the thickness of the original material during the manufacturing process. Stamping technology has been widely used in manufacturing three-dimensional parts, cutting, or other special surface requirements in engineering.
Deformable metals: Metals have excellent strength and are typically used as structural components that require strength. At the same time, we also found that when the applied stress (i.e. the force per unit area) exceeds its tensile strength, the metal will not immediately rupture in brittle materials such as ceramics or bricks, but will deform. That is to say, metals have plasticity, which we call plastic deformation. Each metal has different deformability, the most obvious example being gold. Utilize the plastic deformation characteristics of metals to form various shapes.
How can we plastic deform seemingly sturdy metals? Then, you must use mold steel that is stronger than metal. According to the shape to be formed, make the mold steel into upper and lower molds, then open the upper and lower molds and place the raw materials, and then fix the molds on a device called a punch. Provide the punch with the required force for forming and drive the mold to close and open up and down. Close the mold to form the material, then open the mold to allow the raw material to enter and leave. The punch, mold, and raw materials form a set of stamping forming systems. Under strong pressure, even very strong metals must deform with the shape of the mold.
